The game between closely ranked teams ended with 7th rankedTitanes ' (5-8) road loss to sixth ranked Caneros (7-8) in La Romana 96-102 . Caneros players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Titanes ' players. Yeison Colome (190-1996) stepped up and scored 34 points (!!!) and 6 assists for the winners and Serbian forward Lazar Lugic (208-1998, agency: Dagger Basket) chipped in 16 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. At the losing side naturalized Spanish power forward Jhonatan Araujo (206-1996) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and American forward Randy Bautista (, college: ASA Manhattan CC) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Four Caneros and five Titanes players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Caneros moved-up to fifth place. Defending champion Titanes keep the seventh position with eight games lost.
